December 2, 2016: The UPSC Civil Services Mains Examination is scheduled to be conducted from Dec 3 to Dec 9 2016. The UPSC is conducting the exam in 23 centers spread across the country. The commission has made the e-admit cards available to download on their official website http://www.upsc.gov.in.
The UPSC said in a public notice has said that no paper admit card will be issued for this examination by the commission. “The candidates who are qualified to the Mains exam are advised to download their e-admit cards and take a print-out therefrom. The candidates will have to produce the print-out of their e-admit cards at the allocated venue for writing the examination.”
In case the photograph on the e-admit cards is not visible, candidates are advised to carry identical photograph for each session of the exam along with the proof of identity such as Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, etc., to the examination hall, the commission said.
To secure admission to examination hall, it is mandatory for candidates to carry the e-admit card in each session of the examination and they should preserve the e-admit card till the declaration of written test result, said the commission.
