The couple stayed at a home-stay in Lawadung in Tipling district for three days till March 8 before heading to trek on their own without any guide.

Various parts of the district had witnessed heavy snowfall the same day when the couple went missing.

It is learnt that the couple fell while trying to descend to the Somdang Valley via Pangsang pass, the Kathmandu Post reported.

Their family members contacted Kathmandu-based Asian Trekking Pvt Ltd seeking support to trace the couple’s probable route after 15 days since the couple went missing.
