The Karnataka government’s canceled the recruitment done through exams of the KPSC three years back has sparked massive protests among the students. Now Karnataka Government has decided to hold it afresh.
Law Minister TB Jayachandra said, “I know they are hurt by this decision, some of them are innocent, I don’t deny that. But the problem is that the entire exam system itself is questioned.”
“The allegation is on some 20 people, keep them out of the list and punish who are guilty,” said a KPSC aspirant.
KPSC aspirants Vijaykumar Reddy who is wrote exam in 1998,1999 and 2004 said that the recruitments were rigged. “Many irregularities were done for them to be in their services, maybe without writing exams, tilting of interviews, violation of answer scripts, reservation variations”.
According to the CID probe there were 17 kinds of illegalities in the 2011 exam five candidates got jobs though they never wrote the exam. A few KPSC members were chargesheeted after the CID probe, a former chairman was even jailed.
