Justice PR Ramachandra Menon sworn in as Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh

Justice PR Ramachandra Menon was sworn in as the 13th Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy at a function here at Raj Bhawan by the State Governor Anandiben Patel. The Chhattisgarh High Court is located at Bodri District in Bilaspur, Chattisgarh.

Earlier Justice Menon had served as an Additional Judge from January 2009 and later and was appointed as permanent judge in Kerala High Court from December 2010.

The recommendation of appointment of Justice Menon was done by Supreme Court three judge collegium headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi and Justice S A Bovde and Justice N V Ramana .
