The Central Board of Secondary Education has made an announcement today, on April 8, 2021, to confirm that the CBSE board exam class 10, 12 2021 will be conducted as per the schedule, and it will start from May 4, 2021.
Only a month is left for the commencement of the CBSE 10, 12 Board Exam 2021, and at this time, many teachers, students and parents are requesting the government to cancel the board exams due to the rapid rise in the Covid-19 cases.
According to reports, approximate one lakh students of classes 10 and 12 have signed an online petition seeking cancellation of CBSE Board Exams 2021.

CBSE made a big announcement in this regard today, on April 8, 2021, and assured that the board is taking all necessary precautions to contain the spread of Covid-19 second wave during the exam.
The official statement has been released jointly by CBSE and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, CISCE.

A senior CBSE official told PTI, “With Covid guidelines in place, the exam centres across the country have been increased by 40-50 per cent to ensure social distancing among students during the exam.”
CBSE has said that the board is taking ample measures to conduct board exams 2021 amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Students who could not appear for the practical exams for classes 10 or 12 will be given a second chance.
The CBSE in its latest circular has said that “if any candidate is absent in practical because of being Covid positive or any family member reported Covid positive, the school will conduct the practical exams of such candidates at an appropriate time in consultation with the concerned regional office but latest by June 11.”
The board has made it clear that the examinations will be held as per schedule, i.e., from May 4, and has warned miscreants not to circulate old notices to mislead CBSE Class 10, 12 board students.
